Trust's Ranger Wins Award For Keeping MK Safer
Dawn Morland, Leading Community Ranger at The Parks Trust, won the Keeping MK Safer category in the Citizen's Pride in MK Awards. She received her award from celebrity host Nitin Ganatra (Eastenders' Masood) at a ceremony at the Doubletree Hilton on 4 October.
The Trust has three community rangers who regularly patrol the parks, helping to ensure that they are safe, welcoming places and that park users show consideration for everyone who visits the parks. The rangers also work closely with partners including Thames Valley Police and Bucks Fire and Rescue to help keep the parks safe.
The Education Team at the Trust were also finalists in the Excellence in Education Category.
