Adult education

Discover how to identify trees and fungi, take part in a practical hedgelaying course or get into the festive spirit by making a wreath for Christmas with The Parks Trust’s short courses for adults.

The Parks Trust, which takes care of the city’s parks and green spaces, organises a number of short courses for adults throughout the year to provide an introduction to the natural world, and the countryside just beyond our back doors.

Popular sessions include:

  • An introduction to bee keeping
  • Tree identification
  • Introduction to cider making
  • Introduction to pond wildlife and management
  • Hedge laying
  • Introduction to fungi

Booking is essential as places are limited. Meeting places will be provided at the time of booking. For more information contact The Parks Trust on 01908 255378.
