Home Education

Introduction

Amongst the parks’ most enthusiastic visitors are school and community groups taking advantage of these fantastic outdoor classrooms. Our education team has developed an exciting array of activities, from bug hunts and pond dipping to arts and crafts.

We have programmes for all ages and we are able to offer activities all year round. For many of our visitors the education programme is their first chance to get up close and personal with the natural world. Our aim is to offer something that is fun as well as educational, and to give all participants an understanding of their local environment that will help ensure the parks are valued and respected in the future.
