Meet the team
Nicky Saunders - Education Coordinator
Having completed a degree in Environmental Studies, Nicky worked for the Greensand Trust as a Community Development Officer, working with schools, local communities, land owners and local authorities within the natural environment of mid Bedfordshire. Nicky joined The Parks Trust in 2007 as Events and Education Ranger and has since used her past experience to enthuse children and adults about the natural environment. Nicky has attended courses which include story telling, rural crafts, signalong and first aid. She is CEVAS qualified and a Level 3 Forest School Practitioner.

Nikki Gudka - Education Assistant
Having first started working with us as a parent helper on a school visit in 2008, Nikki then became a regular education volunteer before joining The Parks Trust in her role as Education Assistant. Nikki has always been really interested in the natural environment and is keen to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with others. Nikki has a large amount of experience working with primary school children through her work with The Parks Trust, volunteering with her local school and as a Forest School helper. Nikki has attended courses which include rural crafts, creative art and is first aid qualified.

Jess Smith - Events and Education Ranger
Having completed a degree in Geography, Jess worked as the School Travel Plan Adviser for Milton Keynes Council. She worked with many of the schools in the local area, encouraging the children, staff and parents to travel in more sustainable ways, instead of relying on the car. Jess joined The Parks Trust in April 2011 and has wasted no time encouraging the children of Milton Keynes to learn more about their local environment with her enthusiasm and knowledge.

Arthur Allen- Education Volunteer
An active member of the local Natural History Society, Arthur was keen to pass on his knowledge and enthusiasm for the natural environment when he retired from his post as a primary school head teacher. Arthur joined The Parks Trust as one of our valuable education volunteers in 2008 to work again with the schools of Milton Keynes.
