This privacy policy sets out how The Parks Trust uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website.

The Parks Trust is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 1/12/10.

What we collect

  • other information relevant to user surveys and/or offers

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information for processing our event bookings and other Parks Trust services where payment is needed. We may also collect this information:

  • if you have asked to be kept up to date with Parks Trust news and activities;
  • in order to be able to contact you very occasionally if we are carrying out park user surveys.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

If you submit data to us through an online form, we will make use of that data for the purposes of carrying out that transaction. We may contact you in relation to that transaction via any of the contact details you provide.

Where a payment is required, you will be taken to our third party payment processor to complete your transaction.

Email Marketing

This site uses email marketing for users who have signed up. The email marketing software makes use of open tracking and click tracking. This will track how many recipients did/did not open the email and the links that were clicked within the email.

We only use the data received for statistical purposes only.
