The Parks Trust - Parkland Produce Park Milton Keynes Parkland Produce, a new venture set up by The Parks Trust, will provide great tasting lamb and beef from sheep and cattle which have been carefully reared on Parks Trust land. The Trust’s grazing animals are used to sensitively manage its meadows in order to encourage a greater diversity of wildflowers and wildlife.

The Parks Trust - Parkland Produce cow park milton keynes The meat is genuinely local and has a very clear provenance at all stages. It can be be purchased on-line in convenient chilled boxes of different sizes or an individual box can be tailored to suit personal choice.

David Foster, Chief Executive of The Parks Trust said: “This is a great way for residents and local businesses of Milton Keynes to support a genuinely local initiative of ethically produced food. Our cattle graze around 700 acres of land, including the Ouse and Ousel Valley, Shenley Toot, Woughton-On-the-Green, Simpson and Campbell Park. They’re a great, environmentally friendly way to manage our meadows and instead of just sending them to market we’d like to sell them locally and offer lamb and beef to the local community. All the profit we make will be invested into caring for our parks and we hope Parkland Produce will attract customers who love great quality food and share a concern for the environment.”
