Join Our Magical Moonlight Night Hike
Experience the parks like you’ve never seen them before on a magical moonlight adventure with the Parks Trust. Leave your torches at home and let the night hike awaken your other senses as you encounter the creatures that are not afraid of the dark including owls, foxes, badgers and bats. And when you’ve discovered what other nocturnal wildlife comes to life just as we’re settling down to sleep you can wipe off the dew, stifle those yawns and catch the morning sun as you enjoy the wonders of the dawn chorus in the beautiful setting of Ouse Valley Park.
The night walk takes place on Saturday 31st July 2010 at Ouse Valley Park between midnight and 5:30am. It costs £1/person and booking is essential, call 01908 255379 to book your place. Park at the Hanson Environmental Study Centre, Wolverton Road, nr Great Linford.
Be sure to bring some warm clothing, sensible footwear, something to drink and some snacks to sustain you on the night hike.
