May Day Festival

Date: 5th May 2012

Time: 12pm-5pm

Location: Campbell Park

Event Update - Our annual festival is still going ahead, don't forget to bring your wellies as it's a bit wet under foot but we'll still have all the great entertainment and stalls detailed below.  (Updated 4-5-12 11:27am)

Join The Parks Trust for a day of traditional May Day celebrations and folk music by the canal at Campbell Park.  We'll have canal boats selling fudge and cheese, boat rides, fair rides craft and food stalls.

This year's festival will be the biggest and best yet with traditional dance and great folk music performances.  Check out our festival line up below.

We'll also be having a fancy dress competition. We're asking all kids to come dressed as Green Man, May Queen or a Jester. Winners of each category will win a family ticket to The Twits Open Air Theatre on 19th May. Judging will take place at 3.45pm on Sat 5th May.
