Dragon Boating

Dragon Boat Racing grew out of China 2,000 years ago and has rapidly spread across the world into a highly popular team sport enjoyed by millions of people. The boats used for racing are a long and narrow canoe-style boat, and powered by 20 people with a drummer and a helm.
Willen Lake South host the annual popular charity Dragon Boat race every June and thousands of people from MK turn out to watch the teams battle for the winner’s trophy.
