Aerial Extreme at Willen Lake Rebrands to Treetop Extreme

    31 October 2017

Aerial Extreme, the popular high ropes course at Willen Lake, is rebranding to Treetop Extreme from 1st November 2017.

Throughout the autumn and winter, Treetop Extreme will run morning and afternoon sessions every weekend until February half term, when weekday sessions will also be available.

There are three difficulty levels to choose from at Treetop Extreme, with four zip-wires and over 50 obstacles. The highlight of the course for many is the 13m freefall simulation.

Customers can turn up on the day but booking in advance is advised; this is available through the Willen Lake website.

Aerial Extreme has been rebranded to Treetop Extreme because Willen Lake, which is run by The Parks Trust, has taken over direct management of the attraction.

Rob Wood, General Manager of Willen Lake, commented: “We’re very pleased to be adding Treetop Extreme to our portfolio of activities. It is already a popular attraction at Willen Lake and we are looking forward to improving and developing it further and bringing the management in-house alongside our other great attractions including our watersports and wakeboarding centres and new splash park.

“We have invested £2.8million into Willen Lake this year as part of exciting new plans for the site and a second phase of around £1.5million is planned in 2018 to further improve facilities at the lake.”

Located at the heart of Milton Keynes, Campbell Park hosts many of Milton Keynes’ major festivals and events. Its imaginative mix of formal gardens, water features, woodland and open pasture mean it’s an ideal spot to enjoy the changing seasons.

There are no refreshment facilities in Campbell Park other than during special events. However, there are a wealth of cafes, bars and restaurants in the nearby city centre, theatre district and Xscape centre.
