The Parks Trust, Friends of Great Linford Manor Park, St Andrews Church and Milton Keynes Arts Centre would like to welcome you to the third annual Heritage Open Day at Great Linford Manor Park.

Great Linford Manor Park is a special place, unique to Milton Keynes and rich is history offering an attractive place for people to enjoy. The park contains several grade 2* listed buildings and the remnants of an 18th Century landscaped garden which complement and form an integral part to the Manor House (private residence). The park has evolved over 1,000 years, and evidence of this change can be seen throughout.

To help educate visitors about the unique heritage, there will be a series of fun and family friendly activities, including:

  • Guided walks of the park and buildings
  • Live Music
  • Community Stalls
  • Arts & craft activities
  • Opening of grade 2* listed buildings
  • Food and Drink
  • Children’s Heritage Trail
  • And many more events to be announced

    Great Linford Manor Park is a special, heritage-rich park set within the old village of Great Linford. It contains features that were first laid out centuries ago, including ponds and a Wilderness Garden which represent the English Landscape style of garden design that became popular for country estates during the 18th Century.

    Refreshments and food can be found nearby at The Black Horse and the Nag’s Head which are open for lunch and supper. Milton Keynes Arts Centre has a small café where drinks can be purchased.
