Come along to Howe Park Wood on Saturday 6th July 12pm - 4pm for a fun filled afternoon discovering and celebrating the natural world. Take part in many different crafts and activities, discover bird ringing, and learn about bees, moths, and many other fascinating creatures. Grab yourself a drink or snack from our onsite café and sit back to enjoy storytelling and live music. Get your face painted and embark on our woodland trail. Find out more about the ancient woodland with one of our Biodiversity team members as they take you on a guided walk and meet local wildlife groups to learn about how to help wildlife at home.


Please park in the Westcroft District Centre car park, there is no public parking available at the Howe Park Wood car park for this event.

Toilets, changing facilities and refreshments are both available on site. Please note this event is mainly on grass and some ground is uneven. This event is designed for families. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Please get in touch on events@theparkstrust.com if you require any accessibility support.
