MK Rowing Club Regatta

All day
FREE

Following the success of previous years' Milton Keynes Rowing Club Regattas, the event will be taking place again for 2018. This year's event will take place on Saturday 22nd September on the picturesque Caldecotte Lake. As with previous years' events, this will be an open event, run under British Rowing rules of racing.

The regatta consists of two lane racing over a straight 500 meter course from a stake-boat start. We will be offering a wide range of events in all categories, covering rowing and sculling, Junior, Senior and Master’s events. Following their success at last year's Regatta, we will again be running Primary events for newcomers to the sport, with our and visiting clubs' Development Squads taking part. For many of these rowers, this will be their first ever competitive race, so do come along to cheer them on.

Unlike many events, spectators can see the entire course from our club house, which makes for excellent viewing of the day's racing. We will be running an all day barbecue (serving bacon rolls from 8am), hot and cold drinks and there is the legendary MKRC Cake stall too!

If you would like to be kept up to date with details or register an interest in attending, please contact us at regatta@mkrowing.org
