Discovery Stroll: Newlands Tree Cathedral
NewlandsTuesday 20 September
These walks are at a gentle pace, accessible to all and dementia friendly. Our team will guide the walk and aim to stick to hard paths and take regular breaks to enjoy and discuss points of interest. It's a fantastic way to get out and discover the parks with other people. This month we will be discovering the Tree Cathedral at Newlands. Our Tree Cathedral is based on the outline of Norwich Cathedral and was designed in 1986 by landscape architect Neil Higson. Different species of trees were chosen to represent the different sections of the Cathedral, which makes it a special space to visit all year round. A portable Hearing Loop is available for use on all of our guided walks upon request. Please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org or 01908 233600.
