Various dates available, click the Book Now button to see moreJoin us for this unique experience with our partners Electra on this guided walk, glide and dine to discover the Grand Union canal, its wildlife, history, and interesting areas between Great Linford and Campbell Park at 9:30am on Saturday 14th or Sunday 15th October.
Start your walk from The Black Horse on this volunteer led route – you’ll take in various parks, historic sites, and artwork along the way to Campbell Park Wharf Marina near Campbell Park where you’ll meet Electra. You’ll then glide back to The Black Horse on Electra and see Milton Keynes from a whole new angle.
If you would like to finish your event with lunch at The Black Horse you will need to book directly with them and it is not included in the ticket price. Alternatively, you could use the picnic area at Great Linford Manor Park to have your lunch.
Older children are welcome to join but must be accompanied by an adult – and consider the length of walk and pace for younger attendees. Due to the maximum occupancy of the boat all attendees must have their own ticket.
Please come dressed for the weather with suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. We will be walking at a medium pace and please note that some of the walk may not be on surfaced paths.
