Step aboard Milton Keynes' electric community canal boat Electra to discover the history of the Grand Union Canal as part of this year's Heritage Open Days celebration! Electra is being moored at the beautiful heritage site of Great Linford Manor Park as part of our wider festival programme.
At this talk:
- Learn about the history of the canal and its impact on Buckinghamshire.
- Discover how the canal was built and what it was used for.
- Explore the all-electric Electra boat and its unique spot in the water at Great Linford.
The talk lasts 30 minutes.
Talks last 30 minutes and are fully accessible. Please book one ticket per person in your party.
Timings: Talks at 12:30 and 13:15.
