Horrible Heritage Family Walks
Step back in time and explore our historic park as we bring to life the characters who've made the park their home over the centuries! Part of the national celebration for Heritage Open Days.
Learn how the park has changed over time from Medieval Manor to sprawling country estate to public park, discover horrible historic medicine, what the Georgians did for fun and much more.
This event is suitable for all ages and is fully accessible. Guided walks are at a gentle pace and are led by 'costumed' volunteers from the park's Friends group who will tell you all about the fascinating history of the ancient park. Each walk lasts around 1 hour and will end at St. Andrew's parish church, where you can take a tour of the ancient building and enjoy refreshments (donations to the church please).
This event is held in conjunction with Milton Keynes Arts Centre, who are holding their own programme of arts and heritage events.
Please book one ticket per person.
