Join this session looking at food for free in our parkland spaces.
Foraging is becoming increasingly popular in the UK as people look for new ways to connect with the outdoors. This beginners session offers an introduction to locating and harvesting food for free in our parkland spaces and will help to increase your confidence in identifying wild plants, berries and nuts.
You will pick up hints and tips about nature’s secret larder and the best way to prepare wild foods. You will have the opportunity to discuss recipe and flavour ideas in the group.
Please note we will not be cooking in these sessions.
