Join MK Food Bank for a once in a lifetime chance to put Milton Keynes on the map and get into the record books!
MK Food Bank presents ‘MK CAN’ – a major whole Milton Keynes effort to smash the current world record for the longest line of cans of food.
Our target of 132,000 cans over a 10km line will not only smash the current record but will provide over half of the canned food the Food Bank needs to support families and individuals in our local community for an entire year.
Hundreds of businesses, community groups, schools, churches and Parish councils are all helping by adopting sections of the 10km line, which will wend its way throughout Campbell Park.
And from 12:30 – 15:30 you are invited to come and celebrate with us! We’ll have live entertainment and food and drink vendors at MK Rose and you can pick up a map of the route and a limited edition MK Can goody bag (while stocks last), this event is FREE to all.
From here, or from the Pavilion, you can ‘Walk the Line’ and meet our fantastic supporter groups – many of whom will have giveaways for you to collect in your bag.
The Big ‘MK’
Milton Keynes residents also have the chance to contribute. We’re inviting you to fund 5, 10 or 20 cans to help us spell out a huge ‘MK’ which will be visible from the air in the public zone. Every penny donated here MK Can | Localgiving will be used to buy cans to add to the line.

Please note that no parking is available on site. The nearest recommended parking is available at centre:mk John Lewis multi-storey and Xscape car parks and there is a short walk along the Redway into the park.
