Orienteering August 2020

10am
£5 for individuals and families
All ages

In orienteering you navigate your way between control points marked on a specially drawn map. While there are plenty of people who enjoy the sport competitively, racing between posts in the fastest possible time, it’s perfectly OK to enjoy orienteering at your own pace, whatever your age or level of fitness – and you’ll see more of the parks that way. But you could also get together with members of your club, school or even neighbourhood to organise a competition.

Join South Midlands Orienteering Club for monthly orienteering event. This months event takes place at Great Linford Manor Park.

Park in the car park on field off Marsh Drive, MK14 5AS.

Great Linford Manor Park is a special, heritage-rich park set within the old village of Great Linford. It contains features that were first laid out centuries ago, including ponds and a Wilderness Garden which represent the English Landscape style of garden design that became popular for country estates during the 18th Century.
