Designed for adults of all artistic abilities, this series of workshops will help you learn skills to begin sketching outdoors. Under the tutorship of Kate Wyatt, a local wildlife artist, you will use different media and techniques from around the world to create sketches, ink drawings and paintings of the natural environment, all in the beautiful and varied setting of Great Linford Manor Park.

This is a 6 week course taking place every 2 weeks on Thursdays from 10am-12pm. Course sessions are as follows:

  • Thursday 25th March
  • Thursday 8th April
  • Thursday 22nd April
  • Thursday 6th May
  • Thursday 20th May
  • Thursday 3rd June

It is held outdoors throughout the spring and summer. Shelter, tables and chairs will be provided. Please being your own sketchpad and a set of sketching pencils.

To attend you must register for the whole 6 week course.

    Great Linford Manor Park is a special, heritage-rich park set within the old village of Great Linford. It contains features that were first laid out centuries ago, including ponds and a Wilderness Garden which represent the English Landscape style of garden design that became popular for country estates during the 18th Century.

    Refreshments and food can be found nearby at The Black Horse and the Nag’s Head which are open for lunch and supper. Milton Keynes Arts Centre has a small café where drinks can be purchased.
