People the world over have been enjoying live storytelling for thousands of years; it's the best way to pass on myths and legends!

This Easter holidays, pull up a chair and listen closely to local and immersive folk stories, expertly told for all the family by our resident storyteller Terrie Howie.

Tickets cost £2.

Suitable for all ages. Story sessions last around 45 minutes and are held outdoors. Please bring something to sit on. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments (but no alcohol please). All children are to be accompanied by an adult please.

Due to Covid-19, booking is required.

Terrie is also a researcher whose academic work is revealing local legends from across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes in a celebration of our new town's rich heritage www.redphoenixstory.com.

    Great Linford Manor Park is a special, heritage-rich park set within the old village of Great Linford. It contains features that were first laid out centuries ago, including ponds and a Wilderness Garden which represent the English Landscape style of garden design that became popular for country estates during the 18th Century.

    Refreshments and food can be found nearby at The Black Horse and the Nag’s Head which are open for lunch and supper. Milton Keynes Arts Centre has a small café where drinks can be purchased.
