Ever wanted to learn more about bats and how to spot them? Well here's your chance with this guided walk from one of our bat enthusiasts.  Learn about the common species usually swooping our parks on this hour-long tour around Furzton Lake using special equipment.

The Parks Trust volunteers help to keep the islands on the lake free of scrub and bramble, to provide a better habitat for ground nesting birds. The lake also has a large population of geese and other waterfowl that you may also spot out late at night! Will you be able to spot the difference between a pipistrelle and a Natterer's bat?

Adults only, booking essential.  Please come approriately dressed for the weather.

Furzton Lake’s open views make it a popular choice for joggers, cyclists and walkers. Created to act as a basin for floodwaters during rainy spells, the lake has matured into an easily accessible and peaceful oasis for local residents, office workers and wildlife.
