Are you aged 11-14 years and fascinated about wildlife and the environment? Join our Youth Explorers group to learn more about nature in MK!

This five-week immersive course is taught at one of Milton Keynes' most biodiverse and exclusive nature reserves – Linford Lakes. You will gain some practical experience in studying and identifying wildlife and learn some exciting skills such as shelter building and fire lighting.

This course takes place every Tuesday night from the 23rd February to 23rd March and runs from 5:30 – 7:30pm.

Not only will you will have lots of amazing memories to take away, you will also receive a certificate upon completion. After Explorers you might wish to consider one of our Youth Ranger courses for 14-18 year olds.

Please be assured that your payment will be refunded should this event be cancelled due to Covid-19.

    The 37 hectare site consists of a large lake, reedbeds, wet woodland and several small meadows interlaced with a number of smaller lakes and ponds. Four bird watching hides are located giving fine views of the wildlife and beautiful scenery.

    There are no refreshment facilities at Linford Lakes Nature Reserve other than during special events.
