Citizen science is research collected by members of the public— you don’t need any special training to take part! This allows scientists to collect large amounts of data from all the people that participate. There are many projects that span different topics.

Taking part in a citizen science project means you can help fuel scientific discoveries from your own home, garden or nearby green space. To help you get started, we have created a list of some websites we recommend:
