Take part in National and Local Nature Challenges! The Parks Trust and Milton Keynes Council's Environment and Waste team are joining forces to create a new litter poster for 2022. Fuel scientific discoveries from your own home, garden or nearby green space. The Parks Trust encourages many of its Youth Groups (including its Junior Park Rangers) to complete the John Muir Discovery Award, but anyone can complete the award at any time! The Parks Trust’s biodiversity team need your help with our own local citizen science project concerning the UK’s favourite spiny mammal, the hedgehog. In autumn 2020, we saw a bumper crop of acorns being produced within our woodlands so we called on local citizens to collect and plant acorns to grow trees for Howe Park, Shenley and Linford Wood. John Lewis and The Parks Trust are teaming up to provide environmental learning opportunities for schools and helping to improve biodiversity in MK.Litter Poster Competition
