Change Through Time (Great Linford Manor Park)

Step back in time at our historical site - Great Linford Manor Park!

Watch as history unfolds before your eyes to reveal the people who lived here through historic events, and right back to the age of the dinosaurs!

There are two options available for this session – you can book just one, or book both over a day-long visit.

Option 1: Ancient origins (fossils), The Medieval Meadow (introduction to archaeology), St Andrew’s Church and the Medieval Manor (use of the land at GLMP).

Option 2: Historic medicine, Georgian history (visit to the Doric Seat), The Alms Houses visit (introduction to school in old Milton Keynes).

*Please note this session is ONLY available at Great Linford Manor Park and only from March - October.

It contains features that were first laid out centuries ago, including ponds and a Wilderness Garden which represent the English Landscape style of garden design that became popular for country estates during the 18th Century.
