The John Muir Award

Looking to get your students outdoors during activities week? The John Muir Award involves 25 hours of activity at our Education Centres and in your school. Discover wild places, take part in outdoor discovery challenges and follow in the footsteps of the inspirational explorer John Muir.

Students spend 3 days at one of our Education Centres and 2 days completing tasks at school to make up the 25 hours of activity required to complete this nationally recognised award. Please note, this course has limited availability. To find out more take a look at the John Muir Award Website, or contact the Outdoor Learning team. Suitable for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Please note, additional commitment is required outside of the hours delivered by The Parks Trust to complete the award.

If you would like to speak to a member of the Outdoor Learning team, please contact us on 01908 233600 or outdoorlearning@theparkstrust.com.
