    And the winner of the 2019 competition is Phil Crowe with his photograph of the fox. 

    We want all keen amateur photographers to enter our 2019 Photography Competition!

    The competition is open to people of all ages, with youth and adult sections for each of the two categories; Wildlife and Landscape.
    There will be one overall winner of the competition, who will receive £300 of centre:mk gift vouchers. There will then be three other winners (youth and adult winners from each category, excluding the category which the overall winner was selected from) who will receive £50 in centre:mk vouchers.

    IMPORTANT: ALL photographs entered that have an identifiable person in (the front of an individual) will require photograph consent from that individual. If that person is younger than 13 years old, the consent must be sought from their parent/guardian. Any photo consent forms should be submitted alongside the image for a valid entry, through the form below.

    The closing date for The Parks Trust's 2019 Photography Competition is Thursday 5th September 2019. The winners will be announced by Thursday 19th September 2019.

    Please ensure you name your image file correctly. It should carry your name, the category entered and photo location. E.g. JohnBrown.Wildlife.Caldecottelake.jpg

    You can only submit one image per category (you do not have to submit an image for both categories)

    All submitted images must be in high res JPEG Format, min. 300 dpi

    Your image upload must not exceed 30MB for all three images

    • Willen Lake South

      Willen Lake is Milton Keynes’ most popular park. Visitors take part in watersports activities, go cycling, enjoy the playground, try the high ropes course or simply picnic along Willen’s shores. It’s a great place to entertain all ages of family and friends, whether it’s a visit to the café or restaurant, a stroll, trying a beginners’ course in sailing or hiring a pedalo or bike.

      The one4six café and The Lakeside Pub operated by Fayre and Square.

    • Tree Cathedral

      Contrary to what many believe, Milton Keynes does have its own cathedral. But like the city itself, this cathedral is unique - made from bark and leaves rather than bricks and mortar.

      Refreshments
      There are no refreshment facilities at Newlands. A cafe and pub restaurant can be found at nearby south Willen Lake.

      Located at the heart of Milton Keynes, Campbell Park hosts many of Milton Keynes’ major festivals and events. Its imaginative mix of formal gardens, water features, woodland and open pasture mean it’s an ideal spot to enjoy the changing seasons.

      Refreshments
      There are no refreshment facilities in Campbell Park other than during special events. However, there are a wealth of cafes, bars and restaurants in the nearby city centre, theatre district and Xscape centre.

    • Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve

      Set within Ouse Valley Park, the Floodplain Forest is the newest nature reserve in Milton Keynes and the most impressive wildlife habitat creation scheme in the city’s history.
