Get Involved in Your Parks with our Community Volunteering Programme

We have a fantastic programme of activities in which we would like to invite members of the community to get involved in to help keep our parks rich with wildlife and beautiful for all to enjoy.

From litter picking to collecting and sowing seeds, we have a range of practical tasks across various parks to get involved in throughout the year. It's a great way to get outdoors, help the environment, keep active and meet new people. Check out our upcoming tasks below and see how you can help make a difference.

Tools and equipment will be provided at each session and will be led by a member of staff. Please come dressed appropriately (ready to get a little mucky) and wearing sturdy footwear.

Please note that some tasks are only suitable for adults and any children attending other sessions must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times. We also ask that you do not bring dogs along to these sessions (with the exception of service dogs).

Please find more information about each task below. Some tasks may require booking a free place to attend.
