Litter Picking

World Picnic 2017_062.jpg

Environmental cleansing improves the environment for the public, land management and wildlife. Litter left in the parkland is dangerous to both children and wildlife and also attracts unwanted pests (rats, wasps etc.). Group litter picks help reduce our costs in managing the parkland and keep them safe for all to use.

It is easy to do and can be organised any time of the year with equipment and supervision provided by the Trust.

Either half or full day tasks are supervised by a member of our staff and assisted by our volunteers.

If you are interested in this type of volunteering task, please complete an online form and more details will be sent on the latest opportunities.
