Volunteer Seasonal Placements
Volunteer placements are a seasonal work experience opportunity for those looking to gain valuable skills and experience with events and education over the busy summer period. These voluntary positions are recruited to assist the Community Engagement Team with the delivery of their busy summer schedule.
As a placement volunteer you will be required to assist with outdoor learning sessions and support the opening of Education Centres, assist with running of public events, assist with marketing, undertake research projects, attend and/or co-lead practical conservation tasks and represent the Trust at public occasions.
These posts would best suit school leavers, graduates, gap year students or those looking for a change of career paths who wish to pursue a career in event management or environmental education.
These positions usually run from April through to September depending on the volunteer’s availability.
Uniform, training and expenses are supplied, look out for the role descriptions when advertised.
