    Splash Park Supervisor

    Remuneration:
    Up to £7.50-£9.30 per hour, Seasonal Work (April – September 2020)

    Key objectives
    • Monitor and oversee public safety within the splash park facility
    • Support in controlling access into the splash park
    • Ensuring the splash park facility is cleaned and maintained to a high standard
    • Monitoring suitable water quality of the splash park
    Duties
    • Carry out planned and litter cleansing within the splash park facility
    • Carry out regular water quality tests
    • Monitor safe play with the splash park play zone
    • Controlling access into the splash park facility and the play zone
    • Carry out regular safety checks within the area, and reporting findings back to the Splash Park Supervisor
    • Completing regular cash and card transactions when working the kiosk / ticket office
    • Ensure visitor toilet facilities are kept clean to a high standard
    • Help to ensure that the Trust’s Health and Safety obligations regarding site issues are fulfilled.
    • Help ensure that incidents, damage, and other problems reported by the public and others, are recorded and dealt with as appropriate.

    Essential

    • Flexibility
    • Outgoing, calm and engaging personality
    • Self-motivated, organised and confident
    • Experience of working with the public e.g. in a customer focused role
    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • Excellent communication skills

    Desirable

    • First aid qualification
    • Knowledge/experience of the working in play facilities and or with children
