Through our National Lottery Heritage Fund project, we're making Great Linford Manor Park more accessible. The historic core of the Park, which includes the Manor entrance, the water gardens and the Wilderness will be particularly designed to be accessible to the less mobile. To make the park more attractive to older people and families with young children, there will be lots of places to sit, enjoy the restored pleasure garden and perhaps have a picnic. It will be used for regular dementia-friendly walks. New paths will provide access to hard to reach parts of the park and improved path surfaces and gradients will enable pushchairs and the less mobile to explore features as diverse as the quarry and lost gardens.

Great Linford Manor Park is a special, heritage-rich park set within the old village of Great Linford. It contains features that were first laid out centuries ago, including ponds and a Wilderness Garden which represent the English Landscape style of garden design that became popular for country estates during the 18th Century.
