Biodiversity Action Plan for Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes

At the Parks Trust we are working in support of the new Biodiversity Action Plan for Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, recently published by the Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Natural Environment Partnership, which we are a member of.
This new Action Plan provides an overview of biodiversity across the county of Buckinghamshire and outlines the action necessary to conserve and restore wildlife in the face of the many threats our natural environment faces.
Our parks and green spaces in Milton Keynes contain some of Buckinghamshire’s most important areas of wildlife habitat, including ancient woodlands, species-rich floodplain meadows and wetland reserves. As well as conserving these key sites, we are working to enhance opportunities for wildlife in our parkland that surrounds and interconnect them.
You can also view The Parks Trust’s own Biodiversity Action Plan, which guides our work for wildlife.
