Howe Park Wood - Pond Dipping Platform

Howe Park Wood is a great place to visit with your group. As an ancient woodland and a SSSI site, the wood is a brilliant location to learn about wildlife and nature. We provide a range of activities to help you work towards badges, explore the natural environment or just do something fun! Sessions usually last 1.5 to 2 hours and activities we can provide include:

  • Pond dipping (Apr-Oct)
  • Bug hunting (Mar-Oct)
  • Bat walks (Sept-Oct)
  • Bug hotels (Year round)
  • Bird feeders (Year round)
  • Shelter building (Year round)
  • Seasonal guided walks (Year round)

Charges for these sessions are £3 per child.

 

Booking your visit
