Community Litter Pick: Linford Wood

Linford Wood

Monday 08 January (other dates available)
10am
Free
Suitable for all ages

Linford Wood is one of three ancient woodlands in Milton Keynes and is full of important flora and fauna. Help us take care of this important habitat and beautiful space by taking part in this litter pick on Monday 8th January.

The litter pick will be led by a member of staff who will provide all equipment and take the litter away for disposal. The pick will start at 10am and last about 1 hour. We will be using a mix of hard and soft surfaced paths so please be aware it may be muddy in places and come appropriately dressed for the weather.

To take part, please meet at the "Aerial Carpark" entrance to the wood. Closest parking/drop-off point is the carpark on Enfield Chase (near the BP Garage off Saxon Street).

What3Words location /// chats.region.perplexed.

Please note there is limited parking on site and there is a height barrier at the entrance to the car park. There are no toilets on site.

No booking is required but please arrive in time to hear the safety briefing and collect equipment.

Information for groups: If you are a group of 6 or more people, please contact volunteering@theparkstrust.com to check that we can accommodate you at this litter pick. If you have 10 or more people wanting to take part in a litter pick, please take a look at our guidance on hosting your own litter pick in our parks.
