Community Volunteering: Bug B&B Bonanza
Help the environment by building bug hotels and creating a hibernacula at Shenley Wood.
Grab your tools and your imagination! Join us near Shenley Wood for a hands-on morning of building bug hotels and creating a hibernacula – because even the smallest creatures deserve five-star accommodation all year round.
Bug hotels and hibernacula are lifesaver refuges for our wonderful wildlife! From insects to amphibians, these cosy habitats provide shelter during colder months and help boost biodiversity in the area. By creating these wildlife havens in Spring, you’re giving nature a helping hand – and having fun while you’re at it!
Come and learn some practical conservation skills and discover how to attract wildlife to your own garden.
