Exploring the Tree Cathedral: Heritage Open Days

As part of the Heritage Open Days programme we're inviting you to join a guided walk around The Tree Cathedral of Milton Keynes.

Join us on a guided walk at this unique city landmark and learn how it brings together ideas of architecture, buildings and nature. You will find out about the inspiration behind the original planting in this area and how different tree species were used to create specific areas within the Tree Cathedral. You will also learn about how the space is used by the people of Milton Keynes and how The Parks Trust are managing this site to ensure it can be enjoyed by future generations.

On Friday 19th September there are two sessions to choose from; 10:00am and 12:30pm. Both sessions will last around 1 hour. Please meet at the car park off Livingstone Drive, what3words location piles.grips.emptied. Please note parking charges apply. This event is suitable for all ages, however children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Some ground may be uneven and there are some steps within the Tree Cathedral, please wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather. 

Please note, there are no toilets or refreshments available at this site. The Tree Cathedral car park is a pay and display car park.

This is a free event, but booking a space is essential.
