Join Us for Make a Difference Day: Build a Wildlife Haven on Saturday 25 October 2025 10am to 2pm and you can come along at any time for as long as they want!  

In partnership with Broughton &  Milton Keynes Parish Council help create a thriving natural habitat at MK Village community allotments by building a traditional dead hedge.

A dead hedge isn't dead at all—it's a vibrant, living ecosystem! By weaving together locally sourced, recycled timber and brash, we will create a fantastic, natural boundary that brings enormous benefits to our local environment.

No experience necessary and a fantastic opportunity to spend a few hours outdoors, learn a traditional skill, meet like-minded people, and make a real, lasting contribution to our local Wildlife.

What do you need to bring?

• Gardening Gloves if you'd prefer to wear your own
• Suitable jacket
• Sturdy Boots or Shoes 
• Drink and a Snack 

We welcome participants of all ages on this activity but young people attending must be supervised at all times. 

You don't have to stay for the full session - so please come along for as long as you'd like.
