Night Hike: Summer
Explore the parks after dark with our guide.
Join us at Howe Park Wood for the summer event for our Night Hike series on Saturday 1 August at 9pm. Led by one of our experienced staff, this walk will take you through ancient woodlands, around Furzton Lake, and include Shenley Toot and parts of the North Bucks Way.
Meeting point: Howe Park Wood: Education Centre
What3Words location: pound.trespass.munched
How to get here: Howe Park Wood is easy to reach with plenty of free parking. There is secure cycle parking, and as this is a later event, public transport afterwards will be less available.
Event information:
- This is a longer walk at 10.6 kms, and since it takes place after dark, please be prepared. We’ll keep to a moderate pace, with breaks along the way to rest, regroup, and explore.
- If this hike doesn’t feel like the right fit, take a look at our MK Health Walks or events page for other options.
- The hike will run in all weather conditions, so dress appropriately, bring a drink and a snack, and make sure your footwear is suitable for varied terrain.
- It will also be dark so please bring a headtorch or similar to assist along the way.
- Dogs are not permitted on these walks, except for assistance dogs.
No booking required—just come along, and we look forward to sharing the trail with you!
