How to get here:

Howe Park Wood is easy to reach with plenty of free parking. There is secure cycle parking, and as this is a later event public transport afterwards will be less available.

Good to know:

This is a longer walk at 10.6 kms, and since it takes place after dark, please be prepared. We’ll keep to a moderate pace, with breaks along the way to rest, regroup, and explore.

If this hike doesn’t feel like the right fit, take a look at our WWN or Health Walks for other options.

The hike will run in all weather conditions, so dress appropriately, bring a drink and a snack, and make sure your footwear is suitable for varied terrain.

It will also be dark so please bring a headtorch or similar to assist along the way.

Accessibility information:

The paths planned to be used on this hike vary from hard surfaces, through to muddy tracks and will likely be affected by the summer weather. Some of the paths will likely be dry, rutted and uneven underfoot.

There are no toilet facilities except for locations near the start, through the walk we will pass locations where toilets may be available.

Please get in touch on events@theparkstrust.com if you require any further accessibility support or information.

Dogs are not permitted on these walks, except for assistance dogs.

No booking required—just come along, and we look forward to sharing the trail with you!
