Come and join us for a beginner’s session on Autumn Tree ID on Monday 5th October. Trees are most commonly identified by their leaves, but once many begin to crisp up and fall off this is less of an option. During this session you will learn other ways to identify trees during the colder months. Discover different types of bark, buds and berries to become a more observant naturalist.

This event will take place at Bancroft Park in Loughton Valley Park, a linear parkland in Milton Keynes with balancing lakes, historical treasures and iconic landmarks.

This walk and talk is suitable for anyone who wants to gain confidence in basic tree ID or find out a little more about Bancroft Park. The session will be outside for the entirety so please dress appropriately for the weather.

Outdoor education for adults

We host a variety of walks, talks and workshops for adults covering many different topics including bushcraft, wildlife surveying, foraging, woodland management and wellbeing.
