Step into the world of myth, story and legend to learn about the historical beliefs and uses of British plants and trees. Discover the wonders of autumn and how to identify seasonal plants, as well as some of the truth behind the folklore. Join our team on this leisurely guided walk around Great Linford Manor Park and immerse yourself in the history of plant uses.

Please dress appropriately for the weather, this session will go ahead in poor weather conditions. This workshop will involve walking at a leisurely pace, with frequent stops to talk about what we find. We will mostly be on paths with occasional need to move onto flat grass to get a closer look at plants. Grass may be muddy at this time of year so please wear appropriate footwear. Most of the park is flat with some slight inclines. Some routes may include stairs but can be avoided if required. We are able to adapt the activities for people with low motility, please let us know in advance if you require any assistance. There are a few benches/resting spots along the route. A full AccessAble Guide on this park is available here.

Public toilets are available at the Nags Head Public House, may be available at St Andrew's Church (in the event that there are no services taking place) and nearest refreshements are available at the Great Linford Local Centre. A hearing loop is available on request. Please contact us on outdoorlearning@theparkstrust.com for any further accessibility information or support.
