Walking Festival: History walk in MK North
An amazing walk exploring North MK, and learning about some of it's history
Join us on this amazing walk as part of the Walking Festival 2026!
Leaving from Bancroft Roman Villa and taking in some amazing sights around the North Loughton Valley and beyond. Guided by one of our fantastic volunteer walk leaders, you’ll enjoy a reasonably long scenic walk around the area, visiting New Bradwell, Haversham, Wolverton and cultural sights along the way. Meeting at 12:45 for a 1pm start.

What else should you know?
- This walk covers 5.5 miles at a reasonably moderate pace, stopping at locations along the way to see and hear about the history and art of the area. Please come prepared for both the walk and the conditions.
- This location does has a café and it may be open - but we recommend that you bring enough drink / food to keep you going along the walk
- Please dress appropriately in footwear you're comfortable in, and clothes / headwear suitable for the weather.
- Dogs are not permitted on this walk, except for assistance dogs.
- Young people must be with an appropriate adult and be able to complete the walk at the advertised pace
