The Parks Trust are really pleased to share this event being organised by the Newport Pagnell Historical Society as part of the Walking Festival 2026. 

The team from NPHS host historical talks, and walks in and around Newport Pagnell throughout the year and are always interested in attracting new members.  

Bury Field is a key historic site in Newport Pagnell, and has national historic significance. The history includes the English Civil war and WW2 - to find out more you'll have to come along...  

Meeting at: Queens Ave Car Park, Newport Pagnell Town Centre, MK16 8QT

Distance: A short gentle walk for around 60 minutes 

Accessibility Information: Public Toilets are available by the Medical Centre - catching.comforted.sometimes

The route will use gravel paths, and grassy fields, and is uneven in places. 

This event is open to everyone, completely free to attend, and just requires a quick booking so we can keep the group at a comfortable size.  

This walk is for adults only, and pets are unable to attend. 

Newport Pagnell has secure cycle parking in the town centre, and is served by many bus services - please check out Get Around MK to plan alternate travel.
