Join our team for a guided tour of a "species rich hay meadow", where we will introduce how to identify some beginner's level plants and grasses found in this biome. Find out how and why we manage hay meadows, our plans for the future, and what makes this habitat so ecologically important.

This workshop will involve walking in long grass, off of the paths, and potentially bending down to identify plants. We are able to adapt the activites for people with low motility, please let us know in advance if you require any assistance. Some of the ground at this site is uneven/grassy, with slight inclines. There are very few benches/resting spots along the route, but the pace of the workshop will be leisurely and largely spent in small areas. There are no toilets at this site. A hearing loop is available on request. Please contact us on outdoorlearning@theparkstrust.com for any further accessibility information or support.
