Adult Bat Walk: Shenley Wood
Journey into the twilight world of bats!
Join us for a guided walk at Shenley Wood as part of our Bat Walk series. Tickets for this event will go on sale Tuesday 31 March at 9am.
Led by your expert guide, and equipped with a bat detector, you will venture into the park around sunset to learn about the incredible bat species that call Milton Keynes their home.
You will be listening out to the incredible sounds of bats, whilst you discover the differences between the species found in the area and hopefully have the chance to spot them in flight!
- Meeting point: Merlewood Drive car park. What3Words location sliders.grumbles.alcove
- We’ll start just before sunset, please arrive on time for a quick briefing, where you’ll also learn how to use the bat detectors!
- This is an adult only event. Because these events are popular, pre-booking is essential and each person needs a ticket.
- Dress warmly as it can get cooler once the sun sets.
- Only assistance dogs are welcome on this walk.
We look forward to a fun evening exploring the world of bats!
We host several guided Bat Walks throughout the year. It's an excellent opportunity to discover more about these fascinating creatures and possibly see them in action!
