International Bat Night
An evening celebrating the world's only flying mammal.
Join us at Howe Park Wood on Saturday 29th August, between 6:30pm - 9:00pm for an exciting evening to celebrate all things bats! Enjoy fascinating talks and activities led by the Parks Trust team and local societies before heading out into the park on a guided walk, using detectors, to try and locate bats in flight!
- The event will take place at Howe Park Wood pound.trespass.munched.
- Limited car parking will be available on site.
- This event is suitable for all ages. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- The guided walks will begin shortly after sunset. An accessible walk is available for those requiring a shorter, more accessible route outside of the woodland.
Booking is required for this event. Please select an accessible ticket if you require the accessible route.

From 18:30 - Arrival + collect walk wristband
18:45 - Learn all about Moths with Andy Harding
19:00 - "An Introduction to Bats" talk by North Bucks Bat Group
19:45 - Guided bat walks begin, led by The Parks Trust Staff
