Women's Walking Network: Howe Park Wood

Don't miss the last walk of the year with our monthly women's walking group.

Howe Park Wood

05 Dec 2024
10am - 12pm
Adults only
Free

Come and celebrate with us at Howe Park Wood for our December Women’s Walking Network. Finishing the year of walks, friendship, and healthy activity off with this final guided walk by one of our welcoming walk leaders, you’ll explore the ancient woodland, Tattenhoe Valley and as far as Furzton Lake on Thursday 5th December at 10am.

As the seasons continue to change please make sure to come dressed appropriately for the weather, with sturdy footwear. We would also advise you to bring something to drink.

The Women’s Walking Network is a great way to discover the hidden gems of Milton Keynes while encouraging women to come together and make new friends! Held on the first Thursday of every month, we visit a different park each month to give everyone the chance to explore all the green spaces we care for. Each walk varies in distance but are usually around 4 miles in length and cover a variety of footpaths including steps and slopes on occasion.

Please note that these walks are run at quite a brisk pace, so if you’re looking for something gentler, then we would recommend trying out an MK Health Walk or one of our Discovery Strolls.

Meeting location
Howe Park Wood Education Centre, What3Words location pound.trespass.munched.

This site has publicly accessible toilets and there will be some Christmas-related refreshments.

Unfortunately, we don’t accept dogs on the walks, with the exception of assistance dogs.
