Great Linford Manor Park has been a special place to many people, past and present. During the National Lottery Heritage Fund project, we interviewed local people who have memories of the park from over the last 80 years, some of whom have lived locally for their whole lives and some who have since moved away, but still think fondly of the village.

Thank you to the Living Archive, who have helped to record interviews. You can listen to the interviews below, via SoundCloud and on the Parks Trust Youtube channel.

Our interviewees have also reminisced about the 'Newport Nobby' steam train that ran between Wolverton and Newport Pagnell from 1865 until 1963.

You can find out more about Great Linford and view photos on the Living Archive website and on the Great Linford History website.
